SUMMARY:Women at the Table
DESCRIPTION:Career Growth When There's No Corporate Ladder with Karl AmlieWhat does career growth look like when there isn't a traditional "next rung" to climb? For women working in small businesses\, family-owned companies\, nonprofits\, or for themselves\, professional growth doesn't always come with a promotion\, new title\, or clearly defined career path. This month at Women at the Table\, facilitator Karl Amlie will lead a conversation about how to continue growing your skills\, confidence\, responsibilities\, influence\, and opportunities\, even when there's no corporate ladder in front of you.Karl brings a unique perspective to the conversation through both his professional and community involvement. In his day job\, Karl is a partner in a headhunting firm\, giving him a strong understanding of workforce needs\, talent development\, career progression\, and what employers are looking for. He has also served on the board of the Community Scholarship Foundation for more than seven years. Since 1973\, CSF has awarded more than $3 million in scholarships to thousands of local students.Women at the Table is a monthly gathering of dynamic women who are committed to empowering one another to thrive and live authentically\, both in life and in business. Each month\, we explore a new topic centered around personal and professional growth\, with plenty of conversation\, connection\, and opportunities to learn from one another. Each session is standalone\, so whether you've attended every month or this is your first time\, you are welcome to jump right in!📍 Forest Hills Golf Club\n🎟️ Attendance is free\n🥗 Lunch is available for purchase directly from Forest Hills Golf Club if you'd like to eat during the program.Come spend your lunch hour connecting with other women in our community and leave with a fresh perspective on what career growth can look like for you.
